Coming Home: Our Family’s Story in Patch

I’m happy to share a little more of our family’s story with you. Angela Woodall recently featured López Family Vineyards in Patch, and the piece follows the path that brought me home to Sonoma County and back into the vineyard with my dad, Ramiro.

Before this chapter, my work as a makeup artist took me around the world. When I returned in 2021, I began to understand the vineyard differently—and to appreciate just how much my dad had put into it over the years.

Making wine under our family name became a way to build on that work together. Even our candles played a part, helping fund the bottles, labels, and licensing for our first vintage.

That’s what I hope you find in our wines: a connection to the people behind them and the place we call home.
