The Wine That Began LFV
Our family’s first wine release was the 2022 Rosé of Cabernet Franc, released in 2023. The 2025 vintage continues that story with fruit grown in our Alexander Valley vineyard and a style shaped by careful harvest and patient aging.
In the glass
Grapefruit blossom and wet stone open the nose. Wild strawberry, tropical citrus, and a gentle note of orange blossom follow on the palate. The texture is plush and rounded, while bright acidity carries the wine to a long, dry finish.
How it was made
My father and I harvested the fruit by hand in the early morning to preserve its brightness and acidity. We handled it gently and fermented it in stainless steel. Aging in neutral barrels with extended lees contact gives the wine its texture. It is bottled unfiltered.
